New Easy Breakfast Casserole Recipe
I built a new page for my site called easy breakfast casserole which is made with eggs, hasbrowns, cheese, and green chiles.
Very yummy and easy.
I also wanted to mention a great tool for anyone to use for searching keywords and much more. Check out the search it tool. Don't make the mistake that it's free, it doesn't have much value. It does.
That's all for today,
Success to you all,
Robin

Best Way to Get Linking Partnters For My Website
Before we start, guess what I am eating right now for lunch? Delicious warm taco soup. Man is it good. And it's so easy to make. It's a hearty soup, great on cold days like today.
Okay... I had signed up for Site Build Its value exchange a while back and haven't had the kind of response I had hoped for. In fact I only had about 4 potential links, two of which were direct competitors and 2 which weren't quite the quality sites I was hoping for.
Maybe I should back up a bit for those of you who don't know what SBI's value exchange is.
If you have a website and want quality links (to improve your SE rankings) this is the best way to go. You get hooked up with other people who also are looking for links. It's a win-win situation. The best part is that it is free and anybody can use it.
All you have to do is submit your website's URL, title, keywords, and description and that's pretty much all there is to it, at least for SBIer's that is.
The first time I listed with value exchange the keywords I used were mexican food recipes and mexican food. I received only 4 potential links as I said above.
Well, I got smart and decided to change my keywords to cooking, Mexican food recipes, cooking tips and recipes and I got 51 potential links. Wow, what a difference that made. The point is: select your keywords carefully. Give it plenty of thought. Look at the keywords that you are using on all your pages before you decide. The first time my list was too narrow. Choosing the right keywords brought great results.
After you get your potential linking partners, then you must make contact with them to decide where your links might go and where you are going to put their's. Mind you I haven't done any of this yet but I do plan on posting here how it goes.
It's better for you to make up ahead of time what you want your link on their site to say. That way you have more control over what the anchor link (the text in the link) says. Why is this important? It affects search enging rankings again. Better to have your link on their site say "Mexican Appetizer Recipes" as oppose to "click here".
SBI is great-- so many tools. Many of which are free. Check back here in a day or two and I am going to show you a great searching tool that is free and extremely useful.
Success to you,
Robin

Roasted Veggies Recipe Added to Website
I have added a new recipe to my website and it's a delicious one I might add. It's called Mexican roasted vegetable recipe. It's amazing what roasting vegetables can do to the flavor. It sure does sweeten and intensify their flavor.
Try my recipe and I'm sure you will be back for more. When I first tried an oven roasted recipe my family noticed I was roasting all the time! Oh yeah, my website is called Cooking Mexican Recipes.

SBI Forum Is Awesome
Or rather the people that make up the forum are awesome. I went to the forum tonight and am so glad I did.
I have a little over 20 pages on my site about Mexican recipes called Cooking Mexican Recipes but my traffic hasn't been too impressive so far. Not all of my pages have been indexed or spidered and I guess I'm getting a little impatient.
So back to the SBI forums I went today. One of the SBIer's there had some tips about getting more traffic. I was intriqued.
It sounded so helpful that I am jaust going to give you the link and let her explain it all to you. Here it is: hottest SEO Tip
So I tried it out. Followed her directions. The whole process takes maybe 10 minutes. Now I just need to keep posting here at the blog.
I will definately let you know if my traffic improves. I don't know how she found all this information but it's definately worth checking out.
I also added a new page to my website. I've added a new recipe called arroz con pollo. This is a chicken and rice casserole recipe that's really delicious.
I really enjoy creating new recipes, and in most cases I add recipes that I have made or created myself at home before posting them on my site. I'm not just throwing recipes out there.
I think I've mentioned in a previous log about my newly created Mexican cornbread recipe but I think it deserves repeating. If you would like to try your hand at making a moist, delicious cornbread with a bit of heat (provided by some jalapenos) check out my mexican cornbread recipe.
Success to you all,
Robin

New Cornbread Recipe for SBI Site
Learned something new today. I found a new useful website tool, sitereportcard.com. This website will help you rank better in the search engines, by helping you find any broken links on your site, misspellings, check keywords and more. You just type in your domain name and off you go. It's definately worth a look.
I added a new page yesterday, called cornbread recipes. Cornbread goes great with Mexican food so I thought I would try and create my own recipe. For the most part, I only include recipes that I have personally tried myself, except for those who send in recipes to be included in my site. I will try those myself eventually but I will usually include them if someone sends one in.
I enjoy creating my own recipes and am currently working on a jalapeno cornbread recipe. We'll see how it goes. I will let you know when I post it.
Until next time....

Maximizing Anchor Text in My Website
My site is coming along slowly. That's okay I guess. So far I have around 20 pages built. I just added a new page called Cooking Tips.
I did some research and found that that term has a little demand so I decided to use it. Couldn't find any other term to use that was any better. I like cooking tips and trying to find better ways to do things. I hope my readers will enjoy it and even maybe add some of their own tips.
I was reading the forums at Associate Programs.com and learned a little about anchor texts. Seems I had been using them without any thought. Anchor text is the words you click on when you click a link.
The anchor text should give your reader some idea of what the page you are linking to is about.
Anchor texts are important because they tell the search engines what the page is about and they can help boost your search engine ranking.
So using "click here" as your anchor text probably isn't to your best advantage. After reading this I went back to my site through Site Build It and made a few changes to the link on my cooking tips page.
Heck, I need all the advantages I can get.
Till next time...
